Cardi B Defamation Lawsuit: Judge demands a direct access to Cardi B’s sexually transmitted disease test

According to the reports from Billboard, the Judge has ordered Cardi B, a ‘ Bodak Yellow’ rapper, to provide her STD test in a libel case against a vlogger named Latasha, also known as Kebe, claiming that the rapper has herpes and human papillomavirus (HPV) tests.

On Monday, Nov 22, Judge William M.Ray II commanded the Center for Women’s Pelvic Health at UCLA to reveal “any and all medical records within your possession related solely to the testing for Herpes and HPV [human papillomavirus] for Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar,” referring to the real name of Cardi B.

The judge has ordered to figure out if the defamation claim raised by the rapper against the vlogger has something to deal with. If Cardi B wants the outcome of the case in her favor, then she has to make sure that the test results should come negative.

And then again, a negative test result will be the only way for the rapper to prove that Tasha was actually making false statements and spreading fake rumors against the rapper.

Ironically, the STD tests initially were sought by Tasha’s attorney however, Cardi B’s lawyers claimed that the same sort of tests results was previously submitted which showed no presence of any sexually transmitted disease (STD).

According to Billboard, Lisa Moore from Moore Pequignot LLC firm claims in a statement that;

The medical records concerning the HPV and herpes tests were previously produced subject to a protective order and in support of my client’s claims.”

Since 2019, Latasha Kebe and Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar are involved in a legal battle pursuing charges and suing each other for defaming and allegedly throwing allegations. It all started when Cardi sued the vlogger Kebe for $75k for the false claims of prostitution, drug abuse, and STD. Kebe didn’t even stop there, she continued the suit alleging that Cardi’s unborn child may possess mental disabilities due to her continuous use of drugs and alcohol.

Cardi being the alleged one gave several chances to Kebe to retract the statements she falsely and intentionally made against her. However, Kebe refused to accept the offer and countersued the rapper for 3 million dollars stating that the rapper Cardi B tried to intimidate her by sending the Blood gang to stop or influence her efforts.

U.S. District Judge William Ray, however, rejected Kebe’s claims citing that there was no evidence found against the allegations.

The recent STD test result will be another mark to another defamation case against Cardi by Kebe if the results come positive and vice versa.
