Xarelto

Xarelto is an anticoagulant that is manufactured by Bayer Healthcare AG and provided by Johnson and Johnson. The anticoagulant was brought into the market as an alternative to Warfarin. The FDA approved of the drug but for only limited conditions i.e. patients with knee or hip replacement surgeries which later on in 2012, was fully approved for other conditions i.e. deep vein thrombosis & pulmonary embolisms along with preventing strokes in some patients.
