Virginia Giuffre sues Prince Andrew over sexual abuse charges

Prince Andrew just landed himself in hot waters AGAIN! Virginia Giuffre who had publicly accused Prince Andrew of sexually abusing her multiple times in the past when she was a minor has re-emerged and this time she has filed a lawsuit in the United States of America.

Virginia Giuffre surfaced in 2019 with serious allegations against Prince Andrew of sexually abusing her while she was sex trafficked to England by Epstein and Maxwell. Giuffre claims that she was 17 years old at that time. She claims that she was forced to have sex with Prince Andrew at Maxwell’s house in London, as well as in an upstate in Manhattan that belonged to Epstein.

Virginia Robert Giuffre who is 38 now; is an accomplished advocate for the sex trafficking victims claimed that the Duke of York engaged in sexual and indecent acts with her while knowing she was a minor and a victim of sex trafficking.

Ms. Giuffre filed a lawsuit claiming the conduct of Prince Andrew was extremely outrageous which caused her “significant emotional and psychological distress and harm.”

The lawsuit states “Prince Andrew committed sexual assault and battery upon plaintiff when she was 17 years old. As such, prince Andrew is responsible for battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress according to New York common law. The damage to the plaintiff has been severe and lasting.”

On the contrary, the Duke of York; Prince Andrew has continuously denied ever meeting with Ms. Giuffre. He stands firm with his statement that he has never met her in his life and that all the claims made by Ms. Giuffre are just to malign his name and tarnish his stature.

The Buckingham Palace and the royal family also stand with Prince Andrew on these allegations. Buckingham Palace had officially released a statement in which it denied any kind of contact or relationship between Prince Andrew and Virginia Roberts Giuffre. All the claims which have been made publically by Ms. Giuffre are false and have no concrete foundation.

Prince Andrew has not responded to the lawsuit immediately but if Ms. Giuffre has filed a lawsuit that means she has evidence to support her claim and remaining silent will not help Prince Andrew.

The lawsuit also points towards Epstein and Maxwell for sex trafficking. Both Epstein and Maxwell were charged for human and sex trafficking in the past but both have pleaded not guilty against the trafficking charges.

The court documents have requested Prince Andrew and his attorneys to provide any context, explanation, or facts that he might have to prove his innocence in this case.

The lawsuit was filed under the New York state’s child victims act which is the dedicated branch to serve the survivors of childhood sexual harassment and abuse cases. The child victims act also takes cases that had been expired or time-barred like this case.
